Property Insurance Company of America (PICA) is a property and casualty insurer based in Pass Christian, Mississippi. The company was incorporated in 2020 and is led by President and CEO Robert “Ned” Dolese, who previously founded Coastal American Insurance Company. PICA’s line of commercial and homeowners insurance products differ from the competition in that we are the only insurance company which allows our customers to choose how much insurance they would like to buy as opposed to agreeing to a preselected amount. Our offerings are presented as simple and easy to understand insurance solutions courtesy of our excellent team of underwriters. PICA is currently operational in Mississippi, Alabama, and South Carolina for homeowners coverage and just released a new commercial lines product in Louisiana, with plans to continue its expansion across the United States in 2026.
