Seasoned underwriter Denise Russell became the latest addition to the PICA team when she came out of retirement in October 2025 to join PICA’s underwriting effort for commercial lines in Louisiana.  Ms. Russell brings 35 years of experience in the insurance industry to PICA and a career which has spanned underwriting, producer, policy administration, customer service, and risk evaluation.  Denise grew up in Belle Chasse, Louisiana and currently resides in Picayune, Mississip
