PICA Hires New Employee to Claims Team

Blake Dedeaux became PICA’s newest team member when he joined our Claims Team earlier this month as a property adjuster.  Before joining PICA, Blake graduated from Mississippi State University in 2022 and worked at Pilot Catastrophe Service.  Blake brings significant knowledge and expertise to his role with the company, having handled an array of claims during his time with Pilot.

Blake says he was drawn to PICA’s “smaller company vibe” when he first interviewed with the PICA.  “Things are a lot less corporatized and everybody knows everybody.  It’s almost like a small town vibe,” he said.   

Blake also indicated that he is very excited for his future with PICA.  “As the company grows, I would like to grow with it.  I wouldn’t mind stepping into a managerial role as the claims department grows bigger, and helping train new adjusters,” he said. 

Blake is father to a seven-month-old daughter, with another daughter due in July.  When asked about plans for his personal life, he replied “I just want to be a supportive father, and I want to get better at golf.”
